ALTHOUGH WE’RE ON HOLD DURING COVID-19, WE’LL BE OFFERING OUR TACO TOURS ONCE AGAIN AFTER THE PANDEMIC IS OVER AND THE BORDER IS OPEN! FOLLOW A GRINGO IN MEXICO ON FACEBOOK FOR UPDATES.
OUR TOUR INCLUDES TRANSPORTATION WITH THREE TRUSTED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AMIGOS TO GUIDE YOU, STOPS AT 6 TAQUERIAS, 2 CRAFT BREWERIES AND AN ICE CREAM PARLOR FOR A SWEET FINISH. ONBOARD MEZCAL SERVICE IS ALSO PROVIDED.
The Three Amigos TACO SAMPLER TOUR explores the variety of tacos available in Tijuana, Baja California’s largest city. With immigrants from all over the country living in the border city, Tijuana is one of the few urban areas where you can enjoy tacos influenced by nearly all seven Mexican culinary regions. This includes tacos de birria (Jalisco), barbacoa (Texcoco), mariscos (Sinaloa & Ensenada), carne asada (Sonora), adobada (al pastor) (Mexico City) and more. TOUR IS ONLY $139/US, ALL INCLUSIVE!

- 9:30: Tacos at three taquerias
- 12:00: Craft beer stop #1
- 12:30: Tacos at two taquerias

We will meet at the US-Mexico border in Tijuana in San Ysidro on the US side at the Pedwest pedestrian crossing station. There are several secure parking lots in San Ysidro that charge around $10-$20/US to park for 8-10 hours. We will meet at a designated meeting point and walk across into Tijuana with your guide, where a comfortable 12 person van, driver and guides will be waiting for us. If you are coming from Baja, you can meet our group on the Tijuana side of the Pedwest pedestrian crossing.
BRING YOUR APPETITE. AND YOUR PASSPORT:
Our tour includes 6 Tijuana tacos and a scoop of ice cream at the end of the tour — so arrive hungry! Bring your current US passport book or card. Since we are walking across at Pedwest, the wait should be minimal, even on a weekend day.
TOUR IS ONLY $139/US, ALL INCLUSIVE! Transportation, six tacos, two glasses of craft beer, a scoop of ice cream and onboard mezcal service. All taxes and tips are included. There is a $5 surcharge for PayPal. Payments for the tour must be made in advance. If you need to cancel after payment, no refund is offered, but you can reschedule for one of our next tours or transfer your reservation to an amigo.
